Cleansing Skin
Cleansing the body removes the excreted wastes and dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, along with accumulated dust and dirt. This can be accomplished by gently scrubbing and then rinsing with water. Soap is not necessary for this.
Soap is very harsh and causes the skin to become irritated and dry. Daily soaping of the entire body or soaking in a tub of soapy water is not good for the skin. Because of this certain areas of the skin become soiled.
